YRDSB is pleased to announce the launch of Overdrive, a way for students to borrow ebooks, and stream video from our school, and growing board collections!
Picture books, read along books, simple chapter books, graphic novels and much more are available for students to be borrowed.
e-Books can be read in any web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari) on mobile and desktop devices at school and can also be accessed via the Overdrive App on personal devices.
Step 1: Go to our school’s OverDrive website: Overdrive
Step 2: Sign in with 0 + your student number: 0(student number)
Step 3: Borrow a book! (At this time, you are limited to 1 checkout per person).
Step 4: Go to your Checkout page (under your Account). From there, click the Read or Listen button to open the book in your browser.
Borrowed titles will be automatically returned at the end of the lending period. You can also return titles early to free up space in your school account.
