Remembrance Day Ceremony

Wilshire will be holding our Remembrance Day ceremony for all students on Monday, November 11 at 9:30 am in the gym.  Parents are welcome to attend this ceremony.

At 11:00, our Grade 6 to 8 students will be attending an assembly featuring a guest speaker whose grandfather was a Canadian soldier in World War II and was held in a concentration camp.  Teachers will be having conversations with Grade 6 to 8 students about the World Wars and concentration camps in preparation for this guest speaker.

Students will be receiving a poppy from the Royal Canadian Legion.  Families are invited to send in a loonie or toonie to donate to the Legion to support our veterans.  Thank you for your support.
