Dear Families,
On Thursday November 11th, 2021, our students and staff came together virtually for a moving and inspirational assembly for Remembrance Day. The videos, tributes, and presentations, with the themes of peace, hope and bravery, helped us all to understand the significance of the day and honour our veterans. Thank you to Ms. Byrne for all of her efforts preparing our Remembrance Day assembly, and to Ms. Pintzov’s Gr. 6/7 class for hosting the virtual time together.
Progress Reports will be coming home with students the week of November 15th, 2021 through your child’s GAPPs account. Please take time to review the report with your child, celebrate successes and make a plan for some next steps.
Parent Teacher Virtual Conferences will be held on either Thursday, November 18th after school or during the morning of Friday, November 19th. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn more about the progress of their child, and to work together to support their learning. The deadline for booking a conference on-line through Edsby is today, Friday November 12th, at 11:59 p.m. On November 16th families will receive a virtual link and information for accessing the virtual conferences from their child’s homeroom teacher. As a reminder, there is no school for students on Friday, November 19th, 2021.
